Lakeside Mobility was established in 2007 by Peter and Judy Lauder to meet the growing demand for quality rehabilitation and mobility equipment. This demand included equipment for sale, hire and service within the hospitals, nursing homes, aged care facilities and to the general public across the Sunshine Coast region.
In 2011 Lakeside Mobility became a member of The Country Care Group and began servicing the needs of Department of Veteran Affairs members.
The business grew rapidly, and in 2014 relocated from Maroochydore to Birtinya; well placed close to the future Sunshine Coast University Hospital precinct.
The Birtinya office includes a large 272m2 fully airconditioned showroom with an adjoining warehouse of 570m2. The offices accommodate the Lakeside Mobility team of professional customer service personnel, trained technicians, warehouse and logistics specialists and a delivery vehicle fleet servicing all areas of the Sunshine Coast, five days a week.
The quality of our staff is paramount to Lakeside Mobility’s success. Our team has many years experience in the sourcing, supply and distribution of quality rehabilitation and mobility equipment. All staff members maintain continued professional development and product training.
